Kvik

Who is Kvik?

Kvik has been supplying Real Danish  kitchen design for more than 40 years. We revolutionised the kitchen sector with innovative design and rapid delivery as well as our registered ‘Social Kitchen’. The concept remains the same to this day, and we continue to grown and develop.

Here in Asia we continue to deliver 100% imported Denmark kitchens, shipped directly from our factory In Vildbjerg. None of our furniture product Is sourced or manufactured locally.

We believe that ‘ everyone has the right to a Real Danish Kitchen’.

Kvik’s focus

Regardless of when or where you meet Kvik or whatever project we do together, our philosophy remains unchanged:

We provide REAL DANISH DESIGN kitchens, baths and wardrobes at surprisingly low prices

At Kvik, we insist that buying a kitchen should be as enjoyable as life in it.

Kvik’s history

When Knud Boel Troelsen established Kvik in Kibæk, Denmark, in 1983, it was as a reaction to the poor service being offered to customers by the established kitchen sector. Long delivery times, unfathomable sales processes and sky-high prices.

Kvik was based on common sense, a deep respect for our customers and, not least, willingness to change. And challenging old paradigms is a recurring theme in our work – both in the way we sell our kitchens and in our ideas on interior design and functionality.

Meet master franchisee in asia

IAIN FLITCROFT (OWNER)

My life in kitchens began in 1989 , when I joined Manhattan Furniture in the UK as a junior accountant. I loved the kitchen business and progressed until, eventually, becoming Managing Director and then buying the business in 2000.

By 2013 we were manufacturing and installing more than 500 kitchens a week into both retail and new housing development all around the UK. It was then that we sold Manhattan Furniture to Ballingslov International (part of the Stena Group) and also the owners of Kvik.

Having worked with my own Manhattan Furniture design team, here in Bangkok for nearly 20 years, I was excited to be offered the opportunity to become the Master Franchisee for Kvik, here in Asia, move to Bangkok permanently and personally take over our central logistics warehouse and a number of showrooms.

I love Thailand, the culture and people and after thirty years in the kitchen industry, still get a huge thrill out of supplying beautifully designed, manufactured and fitted kitchens.

There is no doubt that we are the best value and most accessible, truly imported brand in Asia and I really look forward to welcoming you to our stores and together with our teams here, transforming the heart of your home with a Kvik Real Danish Kitchen.

As I often say on our Facebook videos ‘Come and see us and let us, turn your kitchen dream into reality’.

A KITCHEN WITH GOOD
INTENTIONS

  • has reliable certificates in the back
There are a lot of different labels on the market that cover widely different standards. — However, not all labels are official and verified by third parties. Our certificates are therefore a great tool and your guarantee that our products meet certain standards. Our certificates are an independent confirmation of our efforts in key areas, including sustainable forestry, workplace satisfaction and a clean indoor climate.
  • Supports the United Nations World
    Sustainable Development Goals
You’ve probably seen the colorful palette of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The 17 goals have been adopted by all UN member states to ensure peace and prosperity for people all over the world and care for our planet. Both businesses and consumers have a shared responsibility for our planet and its inhabitants, and with our commitment to the UN’s world goals, we commit to ensuring, that our activities contribute to achieving the goals set by 2030.
.
No one can do anything. The same goes for us. And while all 17 goals deserve our undivided attention, we have chosen to focus on the four goals where we can make the most effective effort and make the biggest difference.
  • provides support for local projects
Our internal employee association Quick Up supports various local initiatives every year. We know that our company is about much more than creating Danish design at surprisingly low prices. We will actively support and make a positive difference for our communities.

We support selected projects proposed by our employees. This means that we typically support activities and clubs that involve our own employees – and a host of other projects that make a difference in employees’ communities. We really appreciate that.

In 2023, we had the pleasure of supporting 21 different projects – including:

  • Drying Sports Association – financial support for life-saving first aid courses.
  • Auxiliary track – Christmas gifts for vulnerable families
  • The weaving mill Randbøldal – publishing a book with the weaving’s own patterns as inspiration for budding weavers.
